In 1946, Virgil Bozeman established what later became known as Bozeman, Neighbour, Patton & Noe, LLP. Since 1968, the firm has been known as Bozeman, Neighbour, Patton & Noe (now Bozeman, Neighbour, Patton & Noe, LLP) and has been located in the Fifth Avenue Building of downtown Moline, Illinois. The firm also has an office in Davenport, Iowa. Today the firm includes thirteen partners and two of-counsel lawyers. Bozeman, Neighbour, Patton & Noe, LLP's lawyers are engaged in the general practice of law serving clients in both Illinois and Iowa. Members of the firm represent many national corporations, local businesses, banks, medical corporations, insurance companies, physician associations and individuals with respect to both litigation and business matters. The firm's practice in the general business field includes such areas as formation and dissolution of corporations, contracts, commercial law, employment, bankruptcy, taxation, real estate, probate, and estate planning. Bozeman, Neighbour, Patton & Noe, LLP attorneys are heavily engaged in civil trial and appellate practice in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, products liability, employment law, property and professional insurance coverage, patents, and commercial litigation. The firm receives defense assignments from approximately 30 insurance companies and other large businesses. Bozeman, Neighbour, Patton & Noe, LLP also handles a large number of workers' compensation claims. For many years, lawyers from the firm have been responsible for the representation of Deere & Company, and are well known throughout northwestern Illinois and eastern Iowa as outstanding respondents' attorneys. All attorneys in the firm are licensed to practice in Illinois and most also are licensed to practice in Iowa. Bozeman, Neighbour, Patton & Noe, LLP attorneys regularly appear before federal and state trial and appellate courts in both states. Within the firm are a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and members of the International Association of Defense Counsel, as well as Defense Research Institute. Members are active in the community and the various bar associations to which they belong. Ten partners have been designated Leading Lawyers and two have been designated Super Lawyers.
